Shouldn't have to wear a winter coat in Georgia, but I'm glad I brought mine. It was cold, cloudy and windy in Atlanta today. They are predicting snow for Friday. Not "if", but "how much". The airport has already cancelled flights for Friday.
I got checked in by 12:30, so took the time this afternoon to see the World of Coca Cola museum. It's only 3 blocks from my hotel. They have a tasting room with all of the Coke flavors from all over the world. There are over 60 different flavors. I tried to taste all of them, but just couldn't do it. There are some that are pretty good, and a lot that aren't worth it. When you leave the tasting room, you get a free bottle of Coke.
After Coke, I walked across the street and walked through Centenial Olympic Park.
And then into the CNN building. I didn't have time to take the tour to see the live broadcast and newsroom. Just walked through the food court and had a sandwich while watching the giant flat screen TV (guess what channel it was on?).
Finally, I walked on to the Georgia World Congress Center to get registered for the conference starting on Friday. Walked past the Georgia Dome. Big building. Got my walking in today. But, I'll take the shuttle bus to the conference tommorow.
This was kind of a long post, but I don't think I'll have much time for sightseeing after this. Maybe some quick updates. Have to check back to see what happens.

Looks like somebody is having fun while others are stuck doing boring Windows Updates....just kidding. I so wish I could have gone, but make sure you learn something good to bring back and teach me to make up for the Windows Updates. Hopefully you get to attend some interesting seminars!
I have a big list of neat freeware programs for all sorts of stuff. They had a "freeware swapmeet", something new this year. They mentioned some stuff we already use, plus lots of other new stuff.
